Dave Grohl was confirmed as the keynote speaker for next year’s South By Southwest festival in Austin, Texas. His speech will be given on March 14, 2013 downtown at the Convention Center.
Grohl’s band, the Foo Fighters has been on hiatus, but he has been keeping busy with preparations for SXSW and drumming on the new Queens of the Stone Age album.
The Killers got a new video director for their new single off their recent release, Battle Born. The group worked with the famous TIm Burton for their new video.
They also are selling tickets for next summer’s Wembley gig now!

Muse have confirmed details of a number of stadium dates in Europe for Summer 2013.
The band, who released their new album ‘The 2nd Law’ earlier this year, will play seven shows across the continent starting in Amsterdam, The Netherlands on June 4. As yet there are currently no UK dates on the schedule.
Tickets for all dates go on sale on Friday, November 23.

A Rocket To The Moon recently performed an acoustic rendition of “First Kiss.” The track is featured on the band’s latest EP, “That Old Feeling”. Here is a video of the performance.
The band is set to release their new studio album, Wild & Free, in early 2013.
William Beckett has announced his third annual holiday show at Reggie’s in Chicago, Illinois. The show is for all ages and will take place on December 28th. Makeshift Prodigy will also be on the lineup and additional bands will be announced soon. Tickets are on sale now at TheWilliamBeckettSociety, or you can purchase them on Saturday, November 17th at the Reggie’sLive website. Ticket prices range from $13 - $15 USD.
